LBL has worked with Arlington Memorial hospital since 1967 completing 8 major construction projects.
The Phase IX project included the addition of a new 19 bed ICU on the fourth floor above a new laboratory and Dialysis unit on the third floor which was built on top of the existing hospital. This portion of the project won an “Excellence in Construction”, for Healthcare by the Associated Builders and Contractors. The entire 20,000 SF Radiology Department was renovated in phases and expanded in size to include an additional CT, Angiography and Radiographic rooms. Three new Cardiac Surgery Operating Rooms were designed to be adjacent to the existing Cath Labs and Cardiac Care Unit to develop a Heart Center of Excellence.
